On Saturday 25th August Table for 10 Supper Club superheroes Damon and MJ hosted one of our first evenings, serving 14 hungry diners a delicious feast of Vietnamese inspired treats with proceeds going towards Action Against Hunger.
The night kicked off with a welcome cocktail and nibbles, followed by Goi ca (rice paper rolls with marinated fish) and a demo, prepping diners so they can recreate their own versions at a later date.
For mains Damon and MJ served mouthwatering Thit kho heo (braised 5 spice pork with fried egg, Goi ga (chicken, hot mint & banana blossom salad), and Ga nuong (bbq grilled spiced chicken).
Inspired Damon’s experience of communal eating, Table for 10 served up a sharing menu rather than presenting guests with individual plates.
Not only did the group leave with satisfied stomachs and filled with merriment, but they also raised an impressive £613.75 pounds for our Love Food Give Food ‘Eat In’ appeal. A huge thank you to Table for 10 and their diners!
