Get Involved in our Fight Against Hunger by fundraising for our Love Food Give Food campaign
If you love to cook, there’s loads of ways you can put your culinary talents to good use to raise funds and awareness for Action Against Hunger. Your Love Food Give Food fundraiser can be as simple or challenging as you like. Here’s a few ideas to get you started:
- join the trend and host your very own supper club - check out our Supperheroes campaign
- hold a cake sale, or simply bake a batch of cakes to sell to your friends
- organise a ‘bring a world dish’ lunch event at work
- host a foodie quiz, challenge, or even get sponsored to dress up as your favourite vegetable!
Whatever you decide to do, your support will make a real difference in helping us get child hunger off the table.

3 – Set up your Just Giving or Virgin Money Giving page
to make donations easy.
4 – Promote your event.
5 – Have fun, raise funds.
Don’t forget to Gift Aid it!
Gift Aid means that we can claim back an extra 25p for every £1 all UK tax payers donate (on top of the UK government match funding all
donations!) This makes a massive difference to your fundraising, so please get in touch so we can send you some declaration forms for your donors to fill in.
If you’re fundraising through JustGiving or Virgin Money Giving then your guests are automatically asked if they are eligible for Gift Aid, so you don’t need to do anything. It’s very easy to set up, and once it’s created then you just need to make sure you send everyone a link to the page so they can start donating.
Paying in your funds
Bank transfer: You can pay in the money you raise at your event into the Action Against Hunger account: Co-operative Bank, Account No 65027015, Sort Code 08-92-50. Please quote ‘Eat In’ and your name so we can see when your money arrives.
